Why Futures Good? because for all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ the future really is good.
Love The Lord God with your whole mind, body and spirit, love your
neighbour as yourself and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ as the
Messiah and look forward to eternal life with confidence.

but, if just one person can be saved as a result of the words contained within it,
then it will have been worthwhile.

Only One True Religion?
Yes, its called Christianity.
To start with all Christians were Jews who had listened to
the words of our Lord and his Disciples. They repented their
sins, were baptised and re-aligned their faith to acknowledge
Jesus as their long awaited Messiah. In effect the coming
of the Messiah was the ultimate fulfillment of the Jewish
faith that had stretched back over centuries to Abraham. The
resurrection of our Lord marked the end of the Jewish
era and the birth of a new dawn, one in which
the light of God would illuminate the entire world through
our Lord Jesus Christ. Click here

Religious Exclusivity
Unfortunately
the early Jewish followers thought The Messiah had come just
for them and the rest of the world were not invited to the
party. Even St. Peter took time to be convinced that this
new dawn was for everyone and not exclusive to Jews. Some
present day Christian religions are similar to those early
Jewish Christians in the way they believe they have exclusive
rights to God and that all other religions are wrong.

So, who is Christ?
We can look back now with hindsight and have an understanding
of the true nature of our Lord Jesus Christ through the writings
of his disciples, the people who actually knew him. But even
the disciples did not really understand who he was. Yes they
knew he was a great rabbi and had seen him perform miracles
but it wasn't till after his death that the truth really
hit home. He asked Peter, 'who do you say I am'? To which
Peter replied, 'You are The Christ, the Son of The Living
God'. Jesus said, 'Blessed are you Peter because flesh and
blood did not reveal it to you but my father who is in Heaven'.
So this implies that, up to that point they didn't know he
was The Christ, The Son of the Living God.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God
Have mercy on me, a sinner.

When you prey don't just repeat the same things over and over
again, or repeatedly read from a book of prayer. God
wants you to communicate with him. He wants you to unload your worries and
your fears onto him and he welcomes your requests. Talk to
him as though he were right beside you, after all he is right beside you.
When you talk to your parents, your children or to a friend you
don't read from a book, you speak the words that come into your
mind from your heart. So speak to the Father from your heart and he will hear you.
During your prayers be conscious of the prayer that our Lord Jesus Christ taught us as recorded in
Mathew's Gospel I don't think he was suggesting we use the words exactly
as written but rather as a guide to the structure of a prayer.
- Our Father who art in Heaven,
- Hallowed be thy name,
- Thy Kingdom come,
- Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
- Give us this day our Daily Bread
- And Forgive us our sins, As we forgive those who sin against us.
- And lead us not into temptation But deliver us from the evil one
- For Thine is The Kingdom, The Power and The glory forever and ever
